how to call your energy back to you
Throughout your day (and your life), your energy can be scattered all over the place.
Into the past, into the future, into other people’s spaces…
Left behind at the grocery store, that Zoom meeting you just got off of, that awkward encounter you had earlier with your neighbor, caught up in the plans you’re making for next week…
The more of your energy that is scattered outside of you, the less of it you have available for YOU at any given time.
Why does this matter?
Well, if you’re wanting to have and create from a place of alignment and authenticity in your life, that can be made extra difficult when you’re not totally available to do that.
The more of YOU you have in your space, the more effective you are at BEING you. Creating as you. Expressing as you. Receiving as you.
You gotta be home to sign for the packages you’ve ordered. i.e. the visions, goals, desires you are calling in.
So, how do you get your energy back when it’s been hanging out elsewhere?
This is one of the most powerful energetic practices that I often use with my 1:1 clients, and it is also one of the simplest. Ya ready?
Call your energy back to you.
Yeah, it’s that simple.
Notice that it’s been hanging out elsewhere, and call it back.
This can be said out loud, in your head, or done just with the intention that it be returned to you.
I often like to say to myself, “I call all of my energy back to me. All of my energy that has been scattered other places, I call it back to me now in present time.”
You can imagine that you are a giant magnet, and that, like a tractor beam, all of your energy that has been stuck in the past, the future, other people’s energy fields, etc., is being magnetized back to you. Just visualize this happening and trust that it is.
This is a POWERFUL exercise. Don’t let its simplicity fool you. Think about how many people on planet earth never stop to take a moment to do this in their entire lives…
It’s a huge piece of energetic sovereignty and owning your space. You’re in charge here, and your energy doesn’t need to be caught anywhere that isn’t serving you. So call it back!
Then, notice how you feel. Do you feel different? Has your energy shifted? Do you feel a sense of power or calm? Just be in a state of curious observation for a while.
You can use this practice every day, even several times a day if you’d like — whenever you notice you’re feeling frazzled, anxious, full of doubt, or far away from yourself. Keep it as a tool in your energetic tool belt.
